At least in my opinion

1. They want you to mount the holiday baubles as individual stamps.
2. Civil War Souvenir sheet is nowhere to be found. The two stamps on the one side and supposed to be mounted individually, and there is no room for the whole sheet.
3. Legends of Hollywood sheet has a space, but the Merchant Marines sheet is supposed to be collected as a se-tenant strip only. Personally, if there is selvage with descriptive text, I like to keep the whole thing.
4. Beyondtheperf calls the Lunar New Year issue a souvenir sheet, but there is only a space for an individual stamp, not the whole sheet.

I guess I need to see how Scott assigns numbers to these things to see how they should be collected, but for now, I think these sheets are laid out poorly.

Apastuszak,

Related question to Mystic as you seem to be getting supplements, etc. Are the pages white or cream? What is the paper weight in your opinion? 24lb or greater?

Are the supplement pages matching well to the rest of the supplements and the base album?

Appreciate the insight!

The pages are cream colored. They claim the weight is 70 lb. But it's not. It's probably 24 or 25 lb. They actually sent me an email saying it was 70 lb.

The supplements match the rest of the album beautifully. I'd be happy to provide scans, if you're interested.

Mystic could be right in stating 70 lb., depending on what formula they use. This link explains that 70 lb. text/offset paper = 28 lb. bond paper. The variance is based on just what size the "parent paper" was cut from:

Why do we collect in the format that someone else determines is correct? For a brief time I collected plate blocks, but hated that some were in the Harris album of blocks of 4 and some were blocks of 10 or more. I couldn't afford to collect twice as many stamps because Harris (or someone) thought that was the right way.

I guess we should be somewhat careful about resale value.

I bough the Heirloom for the price. I modify any pages I don't like by making replacement pages in Scribus and then post them for others to use as drop in replacements.

Well, that's incredibly deceptive!
