I came across this stamp tonight from Polen.
Please post stamps you just like for no reason at all. You just like'm.
What made me like this stamp was the egg. Why does a composer holds an egg??? Anyway...

100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF STEFAN KISIELEWSKI

Stefan Kisielewski (March 7, 1911 - September 27, 1991) was a famous Polish writer, publicist, composer and politician, and one of the members of Znak, one of the founders of the UPR, the polish libertarian and conservative political party. As a composer, Kisielewski remained firmly rooted in French neo-classicism, although his writings supported contemporary musical trends in Poland more broadly (Thomas 2001).His writing and political thought were generally marked by pragmatism and support for liberalism.

I'm not a Braveheart, so I don't have a patriotic connection with this stamp, but I like it.

I like the egg Fifia. There must be a story behind that. I've never heard of the Egg Overture, but I know nothing about music.

Blade, is this a snail-cowboy? He looks like he had 10 whisky's...

Thanks, skifi7. There is the question: What comes first?
The chicken or the egg? Maybe this is also true for music:
The notes or the sound?

There is this one. The color combination is what stands out here.

This what I like about my 'stamping'. Look at this. Someone put this envelope together, the postal employee paid his respect by the way he cancelled the stamps and I enjoy just looking at this. Who were these people? What a pleasure to receive a letter like this....
Anyway....

and another nice one

I noticed some strange perforations on UK stamps and the one from Poland above. Does anyone has an explanation for this new trend in perforations?

Gilles & fifia, the is a security feature against counterfeiters, at least that's what I read in a thread of Machins, which have them as well. I suppose it's more difficult to create such a perforation.

Nice German covers, fifia. I especially like the creativity on the first one. The second one is also interesting in that many Hennig covers have really odd stamp combinations, but this one's fairly normal.

I'm filling up vario pages with loads of stamps I like 'for no particular reason' that don't fit in to my regular collections. I think most of them I've shown here on one thread or another.
So to pick one, I thought I'd re-show the stamp that started me on my cinderella tangent.
