Single stamp from booklet,

Close up of portrait on stamp,

Note - the white dot on the scan of the portrait, in the lower left corner of the stamp, is a scanner artifact only.

The dot wipes off easily.

However,
I have a whie dot on the second pane, right hand side of the booklet, occurring in row 2, column 1, that Does Not wipe off. Lower left corner of the stamp, in the wainscotting.

Does anyone have anything similar? Note that this booklet seems to attract the dust.

Same spot on same stamp scanned at 800 dpi.

The white 'line down' shown on the 600 dpi scan above, found below the inner molding on the waiscotting, disappears.

The copyright date c2013 microprinting is found at a slight angle on the carpet.

Perhaps a scratch of some sort. It is not dust. I think I shall ask to examine other booklets at a Post Office or two.

Scanned at 1200 dpi, the insignia above the archway
= EiiR = Elizabeth II Regina (Latin) = The Reign of Queen Elizabeth II (English), I think., (correction made, thank you.)
