Who can take a sunrise,
Sprinkle it with dew?
Cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two
The Revstampman, the revstampman can,
The Revstamp man can 'cause he mixes it with love
and makes the stampworld taste good

Maybe I got a bit carried away. Welcome back Lonedan.

Yes, I think I can be of assistance once I stop laughing and My sides stop hurting!

They are called "Tobacco Strips". They fall under the heading of "Tax Paids" which Scott does not list. Unlike most conventional Revenue Stamps they list the value by the number of Ounces or Pounds (the weight kind for you Brit's.Sorry I couldn't help myself). They are listed in the Springer Series of Catalogs. If they are all similar to the one pictured they range from around 25cents to a few $. If you make a list of Series #, Ounces and Imperf or rouletted I will look them up for you. I have several 100's of these. I posted some pic's of some of the other types in this thread.
