Currie, King Island (Tas.), I'd think. At the time, it had the King Island Scheelite mine operating nearby. |

Next one: on a KGV head with a G/NSW perfin is the following: It looks like it reads ORAMRA. There's a post office at ORAMA, but this does not seem to be the same place. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks for looking! |

Looks like there should be a letter before the O to balance the circle, and the Rs don't match so one of them is probably not an R. Maybe Coramba? |

Here's another one - a place, probably in South Australia - ending in 'ALPAS.' Can anybody help? |

Thanks, Al! Here's a tidbit about the Malpas post office I found in a December 1922 newspaper: |

Does anyone know which places these are? The first looks to me like 'BALNANNAN' or 'BALNANNAH,' the second ends in 'RMEADE.' These stamps came from a lot with mostly South Australian cancels, so there's a good chance these places are also in SA. Thanks for looking! |

Al, as seems usually to be the case, you're right!
Thanks a lot!
Now can anyone figure out the first one? |

BTW, jimjamtwo, have you seen this site? If you only have a partial name, you can use % as a wildcard. For example, searching for "%rmeade" in "Towns & Localities" returns Caldermeade. |
