In Google searching some stamp-related information, I happened to come across a number of these Stamp Journals from the Philippines from 1939-1941 that are available for read or download. Thought some SCF members might enjoy these classic periodicals. Here are two links:

It is hard to read the journals knowing the catastrophe about to descend on the Philippines. It is good they did not know.

• Do you know that there are now
more than 50 radio stations in the
United States with stamp broadcasts
in their programs?

This is from the second link you posted- the magazine from 1941.

Wouldn't you love to hear some of those old broadcasts?

Thanks for sharing these magazines. Are there any more?

Radio broadcasts about stamps...that sure would be interesting.

I recall that some older newspapers used to devote a column to stamp related topics. In fact, I remember as a teen that the local Sunday newspaper used to have such a column every week devoted to stamps, then it was reduced to a "hobby" section so one week they would focus on coins, another week on stamps, another week on antiques, etc., until finally the column disappeared altogether.
