Not sure if this is something that everyone is interested in or not. I would like to start a thread with an ongoing list of commemorative/event postmarks that are available and where they can be acquired.

Here is the only one I know of right now:

Address
Postmaster
Santa Claus Station
Santa Claus, IN 47579-9998

This will be available on working days between Dec. 1 & 24.

Hopefully this thread will take off and become a bevy of info.

Here is a cancellation that was used right from the premises of Santa`s Village in Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada. It was used from 1955 to at least 1962. It is a Pitney Bowes meter impression.

Are you referring to all commemorative postmarks or just those pertaining to the upcoming holiday season?

In any event, I posted this in another thread, but here's how to obtain the pictorial cancel for North Pole, AK:

Do keep in mind the US Postal Service's Postal Bulletin has information on most new pictorial cancels and how to obtain them in each bi-weekly issue of their Bulletin, readily available on their website.

Yeah, I was referring to pictorial cancellations in general, but after posting this I did realize that the postal bulletin has them listed. Alas, I should have done more research :(
