I could probably help you with this, but I need to know what issue you are referring to. A scan of the cover/stamp would make it fairly easy to help you.

I'll keep an eye out for it - and Welcome!

He's referring to the Postal People se-tenant strip of 10, Scott #1489-1498 issued on 4/30/1973.

Understood the stamps, its the cachet I'm looking to see. Once I know the cachet maker, it's a just a matter of pulling out the correct catalogue and looking it up, provided it's a listed variety.

Ted, welcome to the forum. What is the info you are looking for? If you like to know the value it is easiest to find by going to a place like eBay. Another option is to check with http://afdcs.org , the American FDC collectors society.

Ed Vebell designed 16 issued US postage stamps. He is alive and well.

Seems like I'm late to the party here, as several others have already answered the posted question. The FDC is a generic one, without any cachet. This would be the least valuable of the FDCs made for the issue.

You said it was signed by the designer, but I don't see any signature on the cover. Is it on the back?
