On March 28, Ireland issued a stamp to commemorate the Centenary of the opening of Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane.
The Gallery was established by Hugh Lane in 1908. Believed to be the first gallery of modern art in the world, it houses one of Ireland's most impressive collections of modern and contemporary art.
