The South Atlantic islands of Tristan da Cunha has released a souvenir sheet honoring the "Father of the Royal Air Force" Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir Hugh Trenchard.
Trenchard is recognized as one of the first advocates of military strategic bombing.
2008 marks the 90th Anniversary of the RAF and several nations are releasing stamps and other postal items.
