It works for me. Not cheap, especially if you want to manage more than one country. BUt if you need to organize stamps along with their scanned images the program is great. Also handy quick links to ebay, etc. |

I tried it, didn't like it, images too small and used stamps, so didn't persist with it, and removed it. I couldn't say how I rate it, because I feel software has to be immediately intuitive to a degree before I am willing to spend mpre time on it, which I didn't do in this case. IIRC was around $70 which is not bad for any decent stamp management program I would think.

I use it. So far I've only entered my US stuff.
I like it. But it takes time and effort - which is the downfall of any inventory program.
It boils down to whether you want to spend 1-2 minutes entering data and scanned images for every stamp you have (some of which may only be worth 1 cent).
As far as I can tell, technical support is nil, so be warned about that. |

I use Ezstamps.. far larger database of images, more accurate data of scott information, actually if it is in a scott catalog it's in their software. I tried stampmanage and hated it, data was all wrong not enough images.. Try ezstamp, they have a nice demo. It is a few more bucks but well worth it. I can't speak highly enough about it. www.ezstamp.combtw.. read the user forum at the stampmanage site.. you will see lots of complaints. |

A few weeks ago I tried to use EzStamp but found that they don't have a version that works with the 64-bit version of Vista that I'm currently running. I was informed that they were working on one but that it would be awhile before it was ready. |

Stampvirgin: With the ezstamp does one need to buy a few CD databases in order to get more than a few countries on the cd? Looks like I would need to buy 14 CDs in order to get the whole world covered.. is this right?
Thanks |

gord yes.. the whole world is very large. that's why it takes all the cd's or a couple of DVD's that is the difference between the two.. stampmanage has very little world data, in fact all the countries that begin with the letter "I" don't exist.. and very few images or data for the other countries... there is a reason why it is only 80.00 EZStamp has all the scott data.. there is a list of the countries they have.. on Their website..
I so far have bought the first two... CDa b. |

I'm continuing to use StampManage 2010. I will start a thread in the software part of this forum. It's ok for US, Canada, Australia, UK, UN and a few others.
But yes, for a country like Albania, you need to "add" a lot of stamps.
If you do US/Canada/British Colonies, it's quite interesting.
--> I have nothing to do with the software people at StampManage.

I bought EZ Stamp for US on CD a few years ago thinking that I would inventory my collection. I still haven't finished inputting 1 album. Gee, I am lazy or what. LOL! |

I use OpenOffice Database software. Create my own table and forms. No images though. |
