In 2020, I have returned to collecting again. I first collected when I was a kid growing up in Florida (in the 1960s when I didn't have the resources to invest in my collection). In 2011, I began collecting seriously again with a focus on pre-1930s US. For 5 years I focused on classic USA, and invested in the purchase of older British Commonwealth albums--mostly from the UK via eBay auctions. Eventually my budget fell short as the missing US stamps grew ever more rare -- and costly. I decided to sell my US collection to a dealer at the New York City stamp show and take a break from stamping. During the pandemic year of 2020 I began organizing my British Commonwealth purchases beginning with Britain and British North America. My BOB US interests, including Officials and Revenues await my focus. My British Commonwealth focus is prior to Queen Elizabeth. I'm interested in learning from fellow collectors, sharing what I have learned, and making new friendships around stamp collecting.
