About Me

Disabled Veteran, with over 20 years of active and reserve time (1969-94) in both the Navy (8yrs) and Army active/reserves (13yrs). My military specilties were all in medicine. While in the reserves I started to work for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a LPN at our local VA hospital. Worked there until my service connected disabilities got the best of me and I was medically retired from the VA in 1999. Since then I have been rated as unemployable and no survive on disability payments.

I have been collecting stamps off & on since 1975. Was still in the Navy at the time. Since our family came from Old Prussia I decided that I would collect the stamps of Germany and some of the surrounding countries. At this time my inventoried collection is over 7400 stamps of Germany, Scandanavia, Switzerland, Liecthenstein, Luxemburg, Iceland to name a few.
