Timbres, what a nice topic! and I really like this group of stamps you have put together. They all capture the essence of the solstice, the celebrations, and the pagan rites stretching back into prehistory. I'll be looking out for some in my own collection. Thankyou, Timbres!

Timbres, I hadn't thought much about Europa stamps before. To be honest, while I come across them occasionally, I didn't pay all that much attention. But I think your post has explained to me the appeal of a Europa collection - seeing a common theme from different angles, different traditions, and illustrated in different styles. I think I have just seent he Europa light!
