So True! I am in about the same amount of time, and learning all of the time. Until this thread, I didn't know about Modern_who's envelope nor that asian countries also issued soldiers stamps. I thought it was only European. Back of the Book or even BBOB (beyond back of the book) can keep your brain working...and usually less expensive than the mainline stuff.

Hi Philb, That sounds great! Often this type of philatelic material can be purchased pretty inexpensively unless the dealer has a lot of specialization. I also appreciate your words on the Zepp thread. I really love the classics! I hope the dealer still has them, but maybe offer less as he couldn't sell them for a year :) I know I have to be careful discussing buying/selling even if I am not directly, until I reach my level. :)

Wow, those stamps from the link are a little bit too pricey for me--but I love the Noel Soldier stamp and hope to come across it in my searches--what a great converstaion piece to put in with my Christmas collection! ha

Hi Sfgoda,

Several pages more. I will photo a couple tonight and put up. They are interesting, and I have been thinking about looking for other than Swiss and making it a separate collection rather than just in back of the swiss album.

Jim.

Very interesting Swiss Military stamps, desertgem!
I didn't know they existed.
Modern_who, I can't see the pictures in your post. Can you fix them?
