Love The 70's Colors

Here's one that reminds me of the 70"s

Radio Flyer Trike & Polka Dots

Oh and the Monkey Guy too. Reminds me of Lance Link Secret Chimp.

Hope that rings a 70"s bell.

Good topic Stampgal. All my teen years were the 70's. I should use this Canadian 1971 issue for my avatar!

1976 Montreal Olympics
I was 12 during the Olympics. I remember watching it on TV. My friend dad's brought us to a basketball game between Japan and the other country I don't remember. Not much memories from that game. The Japanese were not very tall except for one that was more than 6' 10''. He was about 1 foot taller than all the others.

Our neighbor was on vacation in Montreal for the 1976 games. I was 7 years old. That was my first job that year to water their garden while they were away. When they got back I got a patch from the games (and some money, of course).

I remember the 1972 Munich Olympics and the Tragedy that unfolded.
The Munich Massacre.

I also remember watching it on the big color console riveted to the great Jim McKay.

absolutely

Was it about that time there was a cartoon
image of a guy with his leg forward
showing a huge boot, with the caption
"Keep on Truckin" ?
I seem to remember that,
I can remember the sixties and seventies,
so I must have been a fairly conservative fellow

Very sharp Menzamenz! I like it. :)
Nice stamp, not seen that one before.
There are nice examples, generally of express deliveries
of motorcycles and sidecars.
