Looking for other member who collect Disney stamps. I find it hard to find other collectors of this subject.
Its all I collect so would love some people to talk to and ask questions and share with.
My collection is mainly 1970's through the late 80s. With some here and there through the nineties to present

Hi ldummich and welcome.

If you posted a message over in the Introductions Forum, I think I missed it, so I'll add my welcome here. If you didn't post there, do so when you have time. It will give the others a chance to meet you and learn more about your collecting interests.

I assure you there are other Disney Collectors here and I think a few older threads.

I'm sure you'll hear from the other Disney folks soon.

Hi Idummich

By Disney stamps I assume you mean stamps depicting scenes from Disney movies ?
Or is it more involved than that ?

And do you collect only Postage stamps or also Cinderellas ?

Yep animated Disney stamps from movies, Disney characters in events in history like space walks, Olympics. Disney characters as Mark Twain characters, stuff like that.
They are postage stamps from around the world.
I'm not to familiar with Cinderellas

My wife use to collect world wide Disney stamps for a few years quite passionately. She has since focused on other things. They are housed in at least 5 binders. What kind of questions do you have? I may be able to help, her collection is extensive.

When she was ordering from Mystic, they had premade packets of the mounts that corresponded with the pages and shipments. For some of the sheets and loose stamps she used Vario stock pages. Other than that it was just a matter of matching up the stamp to an appropiate mount size. Since the stamps came from so many different countries the sizes were not always uniform.
