My oldest is also a Franklin. But is is not a Scott #1. I have wanted a #1 since before I was born.

Scott #7 1c blue, Type II issued July 1, 1851. Left margin stamp.
The blue town cancel may be Feb 7 [1852?] PAID at Charleston, S. C.?

Thanks atlashealth! Most of the early numbers are expensive, however they have not exploded in price like classic US coins of 19th century have in recent years.

Hi Tom!

Great looking stamp! Now to answer your question.

After uploading your image, you will have this text inserted in your post:

[b]Image:[/b] [url="https://www.stampcommunity.org/uplo..._Image1.jpg"][img]icon_paperclip.gif[/img] Image1.jpg[/url][br]46.24 KB

You just need to edit away everything but the underlined part (the URL of the image) and then place that between a pair of image tags ([img][/img]), like this:

which should give you this:

I think this is my oldest stamp. It's dated around 1867.

Beginner here....speaking of oldest can I assume those travelers stamp albums are chronological? I have a few stamps filled near the beginning but I have no idea how old they are. Also from looking at some of the stamps some of you have it occurred to me these Traveler stamp albums are for total novices and don't show all the stamps that where produced.
