Yes, go to the Forum Home, then scroll down to near the bottom -- that is where the Buy/Sell/Trade forums are.
You have to have 50 quality posts and been a member for at least 2 weeks before you can post/reply in those forums. So spend some time posting with us on the forum for a brief period so that everyone can get to know each other, and you'll be past 50 posts in almost no time! |

Samuel, yes this website does have a trade section but in order to buy, sell or trade, you must have 50 posts. Although you only have a few posts at this time if doesn't take very long to reach that milestone. To see the trade area of the forum, click on the Forum Home button at the top of the page and then scroll down until you see the section labelled " Buy/Sell/Trade - 50 Post Minimum"
Edit --- Sorry to be repetitive but khj beat me to the reply. |

Most of us love trades. To be able to buy/ sell /trade you need to have a total of 50 post. The site does this to avoid a bunch of people just registering to get a quick sale. It doesn't take long to jump in a few topics and post some pics of your favorites or questions to reach the 50 post mark. You'll be amazed at what and how fast you can learn from the highly knowledgeable members on this site. |

Thanks KHJ, I just found it. I have been around for a year, but haven't post anything much. It look like I have to sell BS first then sell stamps:) I will see me around. |

samuel tan says Quote: It look like I have to sell BS first then sell stamps I for one am more interested in what you call the BS on this site than buying your stamps. If this or other stamp forums were strictly for buying and selling stamps I doubt if they would last very long. |

We were thinking the same thing at one of my stomping grounds when StampWants(SW) changed their name to BidStart(BS)... |

Samuel:
I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't mean to insult us with your "BS" comment..
But if you've been here for a year as you say, I'm surprised that you don't have a better feel for the tone and quality of the SCF board.
We're pretty informal around here, but I also wonder about statements like "I will see me around." Unless English is your second language, how about taking a little extra time with your writing. If you more accurately express your feelings, it will be less likely that we misinterpret your humor as insult.
Anyway, regardless of how long you've been around SCF, I suggest you read the FAQ again just to familiarize yourself with our standards.

When I first read Samuel's post, I assumed he was just joking because of the ":)" at the end of the post.
The longer you hand around, the more you will understand the "limits" and "extensions" of jesting here. Most of us adapt accordingly over time.
Only Samuel knows for certain what he meant... |

Hi Guys, I was joking, see the :) sign. I am not coming here to pick a fight, I am looking for friends to trade or exchange stamps. Hey if I offend somebody by saying that, I am sorry, there is no ill intent behind it. English is my fourth language, if somebody wrote something the other receive it in different mood, the meaning will come out wrong. Besides, I lived in 5 different countries, people thinks and speaks differently. Chill out! |
