Would like to hear from anyone in the US who knows of a kids stamp group that can make use of some on paper worldwide stamps. I have 2 boxes, appox 30 lbs worth in total, of 1920-1950 WW sitting by my desk to go thru. I have already sent off a 8 lb box to a kids group in Pa and that should keep them busy for awhile. The stamps are mainly definitive issues with A LOT of duplication. If a US member wants some for themselves, please send me an email thru my profile. Again, all on paper, very little US, mainly WW issues. No rush, as it will probably take me several weeks to sort thru 1 box so just send the emails and when I have some ready I will mail them out. Thanks

I think I can actually feel your dread at having to go through all of that. although I can finally see the bottom of the box, I'm still trying to give away a true Kilo of German on paper some six or eight years later.

Well, I have almost finished going thru 1 box and have
about 10lbs worth ready. Below is a scan of what they look
like. As you can see, actually very few common definitives,
mostly common commeratives, from the 1940 into the 1960 range.
WW, Poland, Hungary, Argentina, Peru, US ar the main areas so
far. Any US based members want a pound or two for soaking, just
email me thru my profile. Thanks

HI CW. Will make up a box for you and post it out next week. Once your group soaks and sorts through them, you might want to create some
off paper packets to trade with our Canadian and overseas members.
It looks like I will be going back to work shortly
and just will not have the time to do a major soaking project.

Mike:

Hold a box for me. The school, where our stamp club meets, approached
our President, and asked him if we would be interested in starting a club, for the kids, this September.

If it goes thru, which it most likely will, we certainly can use the stamps.

If by chance it falls thru, I will send the package to Mr Calzi, for
the Tri State Youth Club

Bob [ In the Poconos ] GGGG

I will give you a call Monday, to discuss

Hey Cim, let us know when the 7 pound box I mailed this past Monday arrives. Should keep you all busy soaking and sorting for the rest of the summer.
