Okay, I had responded to an request from another forum/group for Libya stamps. I scanned the few Libya stamps I have, but they weren't interested. Maybe because some are faulty. Anyway now I can offer them up as an Easter Freebie, here on Stamp community. There aren't many, and yeah, there's faults, but hey, they're free and I'll even pay the postage. We've got a lot of new members on the forum lately so I think I'll try to limit this giveaway to members with less than 150 posts - give or take a few. If no takers, I'll open it up to everyone. So first newbie to post in this thread that you want them can have them. (If you're a newbie and miss out on this giveaway contact me anyway) Kind Regards and Happy Easter. Dave N. USA <><

Grand gesture indeed. Bravo. Change the title (if no replies) to Free Stamps to New Member or some such emotional words, sure to attract attention (especially on Google! ) |

Puzzler,
Good idea, if no taker's by tomorrow morning, I'll try to change the topic title then. And I just now realized that with Libya in the news recently, these stamps might have an appeal because Libya is sort of in the spotlight a little now.

Maybe we don't have the right items, perhaps we should add a pot belly stove, one horse sleigh and a Rod Laver tennis racket?? |

Well done Amr!! Congratulations! And thanks for becoming a member of our Forum.
Amr gets the Libya freebies. Yes, I'll pay postage to Egypt too. Will send you a separate message to get your mailing address.
I'm glad they finally were wanted by someone. I was starting to get worried that nobody wanted them.
Rod, were you going to add your 50 Australian to this taker? I'll let you work that out with Amr separately.
Looks like Jhlovell's offer of 25 W/W to the second taker is up next.
Com'on folks!
Kind Regards,
Dave N. <><
