Turned into a nice topic. Thanks to everyone for their ideas. I have Power Point and MS Publisher on my computer and will give them a try. I was wondering if anyone had tried the SoftPro EZ Stamp, Album Gen software and how they performed. |

Quote: There ain't no such word as "imperforated."
A stamp is "imperforate" (noun), until you "perforate" (verb) it. Then it is "perforated" (noun). The only way you might have something that is "imperforated" is if you actively cut the bumps off a perforated stamp] Nope "Imperforated" can be used as both an adjective and a noun. http://www.yourdictionary.com/imperforated |

Just because you can use it, doesn't mean you should use it. I refudiate that definition. Irregardless of what they might say, "imperforate" would be a usage of that term. |

yeah, and neither is "refudiate." "Usage" is greatly overused and should usually be replaced with "use." Was just trying to make a semi=humorous point. |

Irregardless, I replaced the imperforated with imperforate, that is what I normally use. I did have a bad day with that page, a buddy who was born in Slovenska pointed out the Slovensko error. I have reprinted, but have yet to re-mount the stamps (if re-mount is a word).
As for borders, I much prefer them. Lack of borders give me the opposite effect about flow of the exhibition, and the blank spaces overwhelm me - I have tried it before. |

Just for the record, this is from the Oxford English Dictionary; that is to say THE dictionary. If a word was used as recently as 1895, that's good enough for me KirkS |

looks from the OED entry that the 1895 use was by a dealer trying to sell a stamp. Now, do you trust any dealer trying to sell a stamp to describe it accurately? |

Bee See I havent been to an exhibition but have a trip planned for next week to San Antonio Tx. for a philatelic fiesta. Hopefully I will be able to take in an exhibit or two plus the bourse. I have to agree with you about the pages needing boarders, I think they look better. Plus it seems to convey a sense of completeness to the page. |
