I lugged home a bankers box of U.S. covers from the Orapex show...as you can imagine a lot of interesting stuff...heres two letters to a fellow that had to be a stamp collector...one from 1936 and one from 1962..the street address changed but not the name or the town !!

That's pretty cool philb. I love collections of old envelopes like that, you never know what lays in store. Especially love the Christmas stamp coming from Santa Claus, Ind.

Thanks JamesW, I troll for the envelopes with letters...some of the older letters can be quite risque and amusing..if we don not mind eavesdropping !!

Nice connection with a stamp collector some 20+ years apart.

An internet search just now shows one, James Pfleiderer of Sandusky, Ohio, age 75, b. 01/11/1906, d. 01/01/1982. His wife (Henrietta) sold the property at 1211 Third St., Sandusky, Ohio in the 1980s for $25,000.

Actually it's kind of scary just how much information you can get on the internet about total strangers.
