Another Color Diffrence In Madonna And Child Stamps

Hello guys I've found another diffrence in a madonna and child stamp that I have. please look at the top image then look at the heads of Madonna and the child can you see the red color around the heads and in the face of madonna and child also red in the hand and arm of the child ?

It's obvious that the red colour was offset to the right by 1mm or so (minor colour shift).

I notice the childs face looks alot diffrent and also a diffrence in color of the childs body would that be for the same reason ?

I agree with blackjag, and made the same comment on your other Madonna thread. Poor quality control. And yes, that seems to have altered the child's face. Notice how even the Madonna seems to be looking in a different direction.

poor quality control is good because without poor quality control there would be no error stamps.

I suppose, but I've worked in graphic design for over 20 years, particularly in magazines, and have always strived for quality in my work.
And don't get me wrong. I like errors too, I've found a few. But poor registration like this in printed material is very common and can/should be managed. I realize when you print a few million of something, these things are bound to get through. And the smaller the piece (a postage stamp for example) increases your margin of error, making things like this much more obvious.
This is my opinion of course. We have members here who are or have worked as printers, and they may disagree with me.
