I wonder if Canada would allow something to commemmorate another country's achievement on one of their personalized stamps?

I do not collect space stuff myself but a lot of folks are. I just thought this was well done work and should be shared. Lots of talent out there.

Just looking at his other stuff. Lots of different stamps and covers, three for 9/11, other Russian space shots (what is so important aboput all that anyway?), anumals, Bob Marley, Titanic, Japam earthquake, Coumbia shuttle, dinosaurs.

Looking at his Completed Listings, he does sell single personal stamps too. Nice Columbia take-off shot, Lascaux cave art paintings, etc, etc.

I bet Canada wouldn't allow me to use so highly known stuff (unless I owned the photo, compyright laws and all).

The only thing that Spanish PO cares for, is if you have paid the 30 they charge for a 25 stamps sheet. You can put on the personalised stamps whatever you want.

... the personalized stamp of Spain should be better regulated.
I believe that this type of stamps adds nothing to the collector.

Some consider personal stamps ciderellas. To some they are labels. Whatever they are I like the thought that they represent what people where thinking was importent at that time, kind of a snapshot of thinking.

Showing distant events is not showing the wonders of your own country I understand, but done well the stamps / labels and covers are good for topical collectors.

Some do make the distinction of collecting only those personal stamps that will show places and events that are real and of that time in that country. Selective collecting.

Some collect them all.

I like the quality of these shown above and think that whatever the subject matter chosen, they are well done.
