Postage stamp are good forever in most countries, so a lot of them get used many years later. I am currently using up a pile of 1970's and 1980's Canadian stamps that are only worth the value of the stamp to mail all of my letters. Many sellers on ebay and on here will mail purchases using old unused stamps as a "bonus" to the purchase.

I would STILL use a 2c envelope like yours if it came along, plus a whole wad of old 1c, 2c, 3c, and 5c. I have more discount postage than I could ever use up. Here's this month's electric bill. I like to think there's a lot of hair-pulling, ear-biting, and arm-twisting when my payment arrives.

This is a 1912- 1972 spread of stamps on a cover.

Perhaps it it would be possible for more covers to be posted showing a similar or even greater spread?

I have a big stack of 29c envelopes I just found that I am going to use.
They have to be from the 80s at the latest.

I tend to use my fun frankings for personal mail and stamp swapping with others.
I don't use it so much for bills and such.
