OK, so what difference does one little day make? Well, in this case, it is the difference between a First Day Cover, and a nice piece of paper. (I also have the same problem with the 1 cent and 1 1/2 cent versions.) At least they tried to make up for it by getting it out first thing next day...

And January 2, 1932 was a Saturday. Mailed stamped at 7:30 am on a Saturday ???
