Well I found this one today and this is really quite a interesting card from the cover to the other side with the writing
World War 2 ended August 14th 1945
Anyone seen one like this baby?

anyone know what USNR stands for .is it United States Naval Reserve?

The sender was an Aviation Machinist Mate 3rd Class stationed at Naval Air Station, Wildwood, NJ.

Daryl is correct. The Naval air training facility was only in operation from 1943 to 1945. Despite that short lifespan, there is alot of associated history. See http://usnasw.org/naswhistory/
