Very interesting stamp! I never knew about this. It is really not too far from where I live.
It is most definitely worth a visit to
Washingtons Headquarters Historic Site in Newburgh, NY.
There are now three buildings on the historic site: Hasbrouck House museum,
a monument named the "Tower of Victory" (completed in 1890), and a maintenance shed built in the colonial style.

You can see the Hasbrouck House (center), the Tower of Victory (right), and even the grave of Uzal Knapp,
a veteran of the Continental Army (behind the house) in the satellite image above.
