Hope this post is in the proper section - if not feel free to move.

Received this recently and it caught my eye.

Patty,

Yours was surely a holiday gift from the USPS to the Hendricks Creek Resort.

I received this one yesterday. The clerk who applied the Postage Due stamp obviously failed to recognize that the label affixed to the lower left corner was actually U.S. postage. I guess the "5 Cents US Postage" printed on it didn't provide enough of a clue -- or maybe he or she never learned to read upside down text.

Steve

LOL - interesting.
The spray cancel on mine clearly indicates that no stamp was adhered to this envelope...
Have a great day!

Definitely a keeper, Patty. And you have an extra bonus, so to speak, in that the Santa with sleigh cancel is a very nice impression.

Quigngt - will keep as a topic of conversation in my collection - but covers aren't really an area that I collect (at this time.) :-)
