This is my first post outside of the "I'm New" forum, so hello everyone. In case you care to read my actual introductory post you can see it here...http://goscf.com/t/30010.

After going through quite a few of the postcards that were passed on to me from my Grandfather, I thought this one was definitely one of the most unique. The metal turkey is protruding about 3/8 of an inch out of the front of the card. I thought the "tin" turkey comment the sender made was humorous.

Hope this is an appropriate first post. Definitely enjoying the community so far, and have only been around a couple days.

Welcome, Hayden!

Your first post is quite accomplished-- including pictures and a link!
And the content is very appropriate. Fun postcard! You probably couldn't send it now because it wouldn't be machinable.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your collection!

Karen
