According to the American Airmail Catalogue, the Post Office did not authorize a cachet for Cleveland The Post Office did authorize cachets for Detroit & Chicago. If that is the case what do I have here?

Looks like the wrong cachet could have been used on that cover. Check AM-119 listings as referenced at this link:

Thanks for the Info I should have thought of the CAM but when you have 400+ FAMS and Jets to catalog off an auction lot I tend to get blinders.
