Here is a "new" (to me) cover that I picked up today. I believe it's a U.S. Scott #24 on cover with a nice readable 1859 Hartford, Ct. CDS. The penmanship of author is quite nice too! I like it and hope you do too.

What's something like this value in at? I'm just curious if I overpaid for it or not? I gave $20.00 for it.

Here is the auction listing for it. I just thought it was beautiful and had to buy it regardless of cost and value isn't a factor in my collecting criteria but I still don't want to get ripped off ya know? lol
