Here's a period ad for the company from a trade publication (circa 1938):



A few auction sites suggest that the company also specialized in seasonal toys, such as Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, etc., with rubber or vinyl faces that were typical of that period.

Back when gay meant happy. That was, and still is to some extent the toy district. About a block west of Madison Square Park.
