Are you talking about uploading photos? If so, what was the problem? Here's the tutorial.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

A little hard to see the "grill." My initial impression is that it does not resemble any of the grill types used on US postage stamps in the 19th century. It may be an embossed cancellation, which were sometimes used on revenue stamps to tie them to the document on which they were used (like a notary's stamp today).

Hey!Guys you don't know our ineptitude with picture stuff. Barely manage to get the line separater thing to work. lol <P>
Would love to put pics on. I got a bunch of stuff I need to find out about. (Ex. got this Irish stamp that says 0 {zero}
cents [I know , it doesn't make any sense at all]).
As for the revenue ,have a pic of the back also. nice of BG4 to put the one pic on here for me. Bg4- Groucho Marxius.
(that's Carlian for: thanks a lot.) Speaking of Marx, is there anyone under the age of 21 that doesn't think Carl Marx
was one of the Marx brothers?

stampoholic,
I am over 21 by a decade plus 1=32. I do not think that he was one of the Hollywood Marx brothers. I think that I am still under 21 in my mind, though. I still like to sit at the kids table. ROTFLOL

Hey there, stamperdude: Abe & rt.66: Lincoln stamps & Rt. 66 memorabilia? Cool!!
While 90% of my collecting is stamps. I started collecting LIFE magazines in 1984.
Have about 1200. Had a monster record collection until termites got ahold of them.
destroyed majority of my old R&R stuff. dabble in a little movie & TV stuff,
and James Bond.
BTW: All guys are under 21 in their mind. We're all in Never-Never Land.
