I don't want to be a pest, but I think I submitted about 2 months ago and no sign of it yet ... should I resubmit?

Centerstage98,

I'm in the same boat. I submitted an avatar request in late April. The request disappeared from the forum threads a few weeks later. I still don't have my new avatar either.

I just assumed the mods were busy. It is probably not a high priority item.

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.

It took mine almost a month. This forum is a strictly volunteer effort and sometimes Kirk just cannot get to these. Hopefully it will be soon.

Mine was also over a month and some are a few days. I guess it depends on how busy the moderators are?

Hi Folks:

bobby131313 is the only moderator that has access to make avatars. I know that he generally does them in "batches" when he has time.

But I'm thrown a little by Dan's note that his "request disappeared from the forum threads a few weeks later" That is not normal process.

Usually Bobby posts a reply of "done" or locks the thread after he creates your avatar.

Let's try this next... look for your original post in the Support Forum (parent of this thread)
http://goscf.com/f/13

When/if you find your original request, open it and 'Post a Reply' to 'BUMP' it to the top of the list.

If your request has really disappeared, feel free to post a new request.

Kirk

Kirk,

Dan's avatar request is in this section -- it is dated April 30th.

OK Kirk, tomiseksj is correct. My avatar request is still in this section!

I've been checking periodically since I submitted it on April 30th and I swear it disappeared in mid-May and it wasn't there until today!

Maybe I should pay more attention to those nursing home ads..
