I was going through Dad's Coke collection and came across
some cover he was saving as a part of that collection.
It isn't old at all. Early 1990s. Only about a third of
them are even stamped. The rest are metered. Which I don't
find attractive. However the labeling on the envelopes is
awesome to me. He has cover from several regional Coke
bottlers. Also has CCE and CC USA cover. Some of the metered
mail is canceled with Coke devices too. Just neat stuff.
Also, he has postally unused evelopes from different regional
bottlers, as well as some from the same bottlers, but from
different eras (timeframes), so the designs are different.
Are unused envelopes something that could be considered
cover, or are we getting too far off topic by putting them
in a collection of cover?
I'll post some pics of different designs as I can scan them.
This one is from Sardis Mississippi. This plant is now defunct.
Something like a cancel from a defunt post office. No more
envelopes of this design and address since the 90s.
