I may be old fashioned, but where did the posts go that appeared in the side bar. Now its only auctions. I found the menu of posts at the bottom of the window.
A real upgrade would be a chat window!
Just sayin' It too difficult to see what's happening unless it auctions.

If you're near the top of the page just click the "recent topics" link at the top or hit the end key on your keyboard and it will take you right to the topic lists at the bottom. The new lists are much more functional than the old one.

I, too, was puzzled. I guess the lesson to be taken is when in doubt, scroll to the bottom of the page.

I liked having it active on the visible screen. The topics are why I come here. Auctions are great, but.......

Well, I see the auction feed has slowed to a crawl. Or stop. I haven't actually looked at one since the test. I come here for the forum and since the change, I haven't been here much.
Is this primarily a forum? or a sales site?

C'mon seriously? The last 50 active topics (25 new and 25 last updated) are at the bottom of every single page, you can't hit the end key or click the recent topics link at the top of the page? Too much trouble? It's tremendously better because the links now change to tell you what you've read and what you haven't and there's more info.

Amazing right? You would think it was Armageddon here when the sales went away. I boot a family member from running the site (he won't even speak to me now) and spend $500 to have the auction setup rewritten from the coin site which everyone wanted. Now no one uses it.

I have to say, I'm really starting to understand why he was so angry all the time.

Thanks Bobby for all you do.

I wondered why the auctions were again featured- thanks for the upgrade.

I hope you realize that what is said is in the spirit of constructive suggestions.

I like the new topics lists. Give the auctions time. Nice to see them back, though I haven't used the facility yet. But I will.

It will just take time to get used to. As for it being too much trouble to click extra links? Im a creature of habit. and I find that the <END> button on my keyboard works pretty well. As for using the auction section. I've had an eBay account for 10 years and still have less than 300 feedback. I still haven't sold 250.00 worth of stuff. I may have sold about 8 things. So, Im not really a good advocate for that portion. Just observing.
I apologize for being rude in my earlier comments. I really meant no harm, was just venting I guess. It's that creature of habit coming out in me.

Thanks for your efforts in keeping the forum going in forward direction.
