Just interesting, because I don't think this is a Flat Plate offset on the back. It looks like blue transferred on top of the gum, but just in limited areas. Any explanations?
finger prints when moving a stack from the press reservoir to the cutting feeder?? These look more like ridge lines of a finger print than ink deposited by stacking process.
The blue markings line up well with the lighter color on the lower left part of Kennedy's jacket. They look a lot like fingerprints, but surely too much of a coincidence? I'll try to do a photograph later (if I can get the lighting to work out), that shows a slight indentation into the gummed area.
