I recently acquired a new tablet (Kindle Fire) and after getting to the SCF site I bookmarked it for future visits. I was able to log onto the site several times and actually posted a few replies or thoughts. Today when I sign in, the screen comes back that I successfully logged in. However it does not return me to the forum, but instead back to the login screen. All my other media (facebook & email) function properly (so far). I did not change any settings since bookmarking. Is there anything I should look for in my settings or is the SCF site just non-responsive because of other issues. (I am not a techie, lucky I know how to turn on {I did reboot the tablet.}

I'm not familiar with Kindles but it sounds like it's rejecting cookies. Login is maintained by small text file called a cookie and if the Kindle is rejecting them, you won't stay logged in.

You need to enable cookies as bobby suggested. A friend of mine has a Fire.

Step 1
Tap "Web" on your Kindle Fire's home screen menu. This opens the device's Silk browser.

Step 2
Tap the "Menu" button on the bottom menu of the Silk screen - the icon for this is three lines inside a square outline. This takes you to the Settings menu.

Step 3
Scroll down through the options in the Settings menu to the Saved Data section. Tap the "Accept Cookies" box. The check in the box turns orange with a white background when you have enabled cookies.

Glad it worked! My husband finally gave in and bought a Kindle Fire after years of seeing me use mine. Unfortunately,for techie reasons, it's the newer version so I'm clueless on most of the functions until he'll let me paw around at it.

I will say tho that Linn's tablet edition is stunning on the newer Fire, and the older ones worked great to begin with.
