Ok! got'em to make this TQ#5. Same Movie. "Operation Petticoat" (well sort of). Arthur O'Connell is one of the great characters of the movies. He had roles in several hundred movies and TV shows. He also was in at least 2 Elvis movies. The one movie was kind of like a poor Beverly Hillbillies. Arthur O'Connell played Pa Kwimper and I believe he had sort of informally adopted Elvis as his son. Now this is a 2 part question. One name the movie (piece of cake) and two name what business activity they did to earn money which they purely lucked into. Nice little prize. not unique, but not mass produced. I think john is going to put the pic up for me. I'm pic post challenged. Ok. Go.

Follow that Dream was filmed in Levy County, specifically, Yankeetown. that road had just been opened. I've been on that road and quite possibly fished off the bridge. Was never able to verify it though because I was there in the 70's and in the 90's. And of course the movie was made around 1960 . Would require a great deal of searching to find out for sure. |

Jopie: Does that crusty old curmudgeon belong to you? (was going to say snaggle-toothed but didn't want to offend him). |
