Who is "POOZEBEAT" ?

HINT: He is a well-known American depicted on a foreign stamp.

SHOW US THE STAMP WITH BOTH HIM AND "POOZEBEAT" ON IT!

Alright Larry,
Do we get a 2nd hint? I couldn't come up with anything and I used even google. Is it a play on words or spelling regarding the nickname?

I have no clue what the answer is, but I just wanted to say that you are the first person I ever met that could make up a question that generates ZERO hits in Google. Very impressive!

OK, here's a big hint. It's a stamp from Greece.

It's not a nickname.

POOZEBEAT = ROOSEVELT

in Greek. Except the "A" isn't really an "A" but
a Greek character without the bar. (Was never a
frat boy so don't know my Greek letters!) The
O's and the T and the E's match.

Thanks Bob, but you really need a close up to see
POOZEBEAT under the photo.

----

OK, by deduction, that "A" thing must be lambda.

I get it now. Thanks. lamda, lamda, lamda=nerds Sorry I caught Revenge of the Nerds last weekend. I usually prefer the term "geek" as in the geek will inherit the earth. I also was not a frat boy or college boy for that matter, moreso the school of hard knocks or lucky breaks.
