Number Of Posts

It appears my number of posts appear to be stuck at 1103.

@KGB -- I think it would be fun if we subtracted points for subject lines such as "Worth saving?" and "Anything here?"

I've had a few of the "not meaningful" posts.

As long as you don't subtract points for all my poor jokes!

For the record, I'm only teasing about decreasing the counts. And I'm sure no one is evaluating your posts for "meaningful-ness" .

Once in a while, a brand new member will try to get her/his post count elevated by replying "Me too" and "Nice post" to every thread on the board -- those people get a warning,

What you have noticed is that posts to the "Introduce Yourself" forum don't add to your count. And there are a couple others places, like the TEST forum, where your counter won't increase with every post.

But all your contributions to the "content areas" will auto-increment your count.

To think I thought Kirk was UNcounting posts

I take it all in the spirit of good jest.

We did that to a guy on the coin forum once as a practical joke once years ago. We set the software to subtract a post every time he posted.
