On December 8, 1893 Charles Pfizer, founder of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer in New York,

sent this cover to John Wyeth, founder of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Philadelphia.

On Jan. 26, 2009 Pfizer announced that it will buy Wyeth for $68 billion in cash and stock.

Jeffrey B. Kindler, CEO of Pfizer and Bernard Poussot, CEO of Wyeth

t360, Why don't you let the new company know about this cover. Maybe they will offer something for it, but more likely would be that they write up a story for their in-house news/info publications that goes to employees and stockholders. It would be fun news for them.

I agree with warrehouse -- it would make great public relations for them.

Wow. This just goes to show that stamp collecting is full of surprises. A relatively low value cover with historical significance can be a gem; maybe even valuable
