Hello, I'm a stamp collector. Obvious aside, I want to focus mostly on pre-1900 stamps.

My collection started with gifts over a decade ago, but only in the past months have I begun to actively buy stamps for myself. I hope to learn more about the stamps I have, as I recently went from a (mostly) coin collector with two low value albums to a (mostly) stamp collector with 8 albums, and a ninth on the way.

I hope to sell some of the stamps I don't particularly care about eventually to buy the ones I do, but at the moment I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I have, how I want to display it, and how to safely display it.

This website has been helpful in what research I have done, and I'm glad to join in!

Welcome Alen

Yes there is a wealth of resources for a collector on this site. You should be well served. Do you collect a specific country or worldwide pre-1900 stamps?

I specifically aim for American, Baltic, and Swiss stamps. In the process I've acquired a LOT from elsewhere. The most comprehensive country I have (aside from America due to a gift) is actually Belgium and France.
