I want to say hi and introduce myself. My name is James and I'm somewhat new to the stamp world, and I hope to learn as much as possible. I've had a small collection my whole life and now from family deaths, I have more stamps and I am looking for information on preserving them and in the near future, appraising them. If anybody has information on these topics and which catalogs and or books to look through, to get myself acquainted with the stamp world, that would be great. Special tools and glove info while handling them too would be nice to know.

Thanks

Greetings from Canada. Take your time. Baby steps. Join a stamp club. Open ears and eyes. Don't burn yourself out on catalogues etc. Just yet.
