As most of you know I have only recently started collecting stamps.
When I first started I bought a bag of stamps(I didn't know there was a name for it) to get me going.
Triggers mob and I are still going through it .
But it did give me the basic collection of Aussie stamps to get started with so for any new collector I say it is a good starting point. Yes you do get a lot of doubles and multiples but that's whats so good because you can then pass them on to those that helped your self.
In my case I simply said to Steve to take what he didn't have, to fill a few holes and then I would get whats left. Remembering it was Steve that got me started I felt great knowing that I could actually give him stamps he needed.
(I'm selfish, and like to feel good). I didn't pay much but thinking back on it if I had to do it again I would gladly pay it again and more if needed.

I agree bandicoot

In the spring I purchased a few lots that cost between 99 cent and $1.25 for 1000 stamps (actually I bought about 20,000 the darn things.

There were lots of duplicates but I have been able the share many of them and I've received some nice unexpected surprises in return.

I look forward to the days when I have time to sort thru and send the spares to my newfound freinds in the forum.
