Hi there, I have a 1c green Franklin stamp on an American postcard dated April 2nd 1915. There appears to be a watermark S, possibly with 1 line or double lines. 10 perf along top and 12 down side. Franklin's neck is distinctly scalely looking, also shows a whiter line to base of stamp. Could this be an elusive DW61 ?
no. 349 A.

thanks
Helen

Did you measure the perfs with a perf gauge, or just count them?

perf 10x10. you can accurately count the horizontal perfs but the vertical can't... you can see the gauge of the top and sides are identical... an aside, if this were the rare one, us postcard collectors would be richer than Bill Gates
