Hello magic.
I'd say your blue orb is ink lifted from another stamp. Probably the two stamps were stuck together and yours retained some of the other stamps image when separated.
If you flip your image you'll see what looks like the top of a number two, very similar to that on the 12¢ denomination stamp from the same pictoral issue.

Yours

Edit: Actually, now that I see the reversed image on the screen, I can make out the horse, so it's probably picked up from another 2¢ horse and rider stamp. Interesting that it is blue.

It is possible that this stamp was taken out of an old stampalbum the kind that shows some pictures. When the stamp was removed from the album, part of the picture stuck to the backside of the stamp and came with it. Johan.

Looks like the image of the "horse and Rider". I would think Johan is correct.

As Johan posted, it appears to simply be part of the album page image. The stamp probably had some gum left on it (or some other adhesive) which caused the stamp to become stuck to the album page. When someone removed it, part of the page was torn off and stayed stuck to the back of the stamp. This is pretty common to see.

This stamp is not in a good condition (old hinge, missing perfs, dirty, extra 'orb', etc.). You have nothing to lose by soaking this stamp and giving it a good bath; the 'orb' will probably float off.

The front of the stamp looks pretty good. Cleaning it up with a nice bath can only help.
