Hello,

This stamp came from a collection that has yielded several incorrectly IDed stamps. The sides look like them may be trimmed and in a few spots show what may have been perfs but not sure. Watermark was not easily seen. Perfs seem to measure OK but again not totally sure I cut and pasted top to bottom for comparison. If not 351 - it could be 347 with added top/bottom perfs or 335 with trimmed perfs left/right. Would like your input on which base stamp it might be.

Thanks in advance for your time.
Hobsun

It's very likely a fake. At a glance, the edges don't look right, perf hole size doesn't look right, shade doesn't look right, etc. If DL watermark, my guess is 347 w/ fake perfs.

But are you sure it has a double line watermark? It actually looks like a trimmed 378 to me (based on margin size, shade, etc.)

Srailkb,

Checking the wmk it could be a trimmed 378, the cancel hides the wmk and it could be a single. Thanks for looking, your concerns align with mine and I was not considering the color as you did. I will record this as fake - likely 378 trimmed.

Thanks again.

The right edge looks too wavy to me. And it is difficult to tell without a sharper image, but I might be seeing some small remaining divots of perfs on that side that would be the telltale sign of trimmed sheet stamp (left border could be genuine, coming from the left margin of the sheet).
